I love this tune... easy to play, sounds great... there is a lot more to this tune if you want to get into doing some transcribing on your own too - great solos and stuff. Google More Cowbell if you have not seen the skit, it's very funny. Old, but very clever...

I didn't spend lots of time getting the same tone as the tune, but think I got it ok. It's almost certainly a Gibson and there are some live vids of him playing an SG and sme with a Les Paul. For this vid I used a Gibson SG into an old Fender Super Champ (the all valve point to pint wired 80's model designed by Paul Rivera). Used the clean channel driven a bit (volume on 8, master on 3) bass on 10, treble on 6 and reverb on about 3.
